APRIL 2024 Wellness Resources

BlackFemaleProject came to be in response to our Founder’s experience of workplace stress leading to physical sickness. Over the past 10 years, we’ve learned that far too many Black women across industries have similar stories.

Does this strike a chord for you? If so, what are your plans for keeping yourself healthy as you achieve your professional goals? If not, what strategies have worked for you to maintain a sense of balance amidst the demands of life? Like our dear friend Dr. Phyllis Hubbard, we believe that any challenges we encounter contain within them information that can help us find more alignment. As you navigate your personal and professional life, how can you use your challenges themselves to bring you closer to your vision of wellness? This April, as the flowers bloom around us, we encourage you to identify the seeds inside of your challenges that might support you to grow into a healthier state of being.

Dig into Dr. Phyllis’s podcast episode and our other April wellness resources to find your way to techniques that can support your capacity for mindfulness and creative problem-solving, and join us in 8 Weeks of Self-Discovery for an in-depth journey toward self-compassion and harmony.
