MAY 2026 Wellness Resources

May is the month of movement—a transition period between Spring and Summer where we accept the closing of one season and invite another into our lives. Approaching the middle of the year, the intentions you set in January may be coming to fruition, a blooming season for the seeds planted at the top of 2026. With the many internal and external changes this month brings, we invite you—Black woman—to build your resilience and adaptability. While change is constant, it doesn’t have to be unexpected or unwanted. By learning to navigate fear and anxiety, you build your capacity for new challenges and experiences.

This May, move through fear just like water. Come up to the surface more resilient.

RESOURCES FOR THRIVING

SONG OF THE MONTH

REFLECTION QUESTIONs:

Lean into discomfort and fear, letting it move through you. What is something that you’re fearful of or anxious about that you can try this month?

Reflect on your life thus far. Can you remember a moment where you remained resilient in the face of difficulty? Celebrate yourself for making it through that experience.

What is your relationship with water, and does it play a role in your spiritual life? Think about renewal, peace, transformation, or even baptism. How can you embody the spiritual nature of water this month?

As Black women, we are experts of adaptation—learning from our surroundings and adjusting to succeed wherever we are. What’s one way you’ve flowed like water and adapted to the situation at hand? How have you made a way out of no way and welcomed the unexpected?
