WHAT TO EXPECT

• Walk the Data. All attendees move through gallery stations of the Teacher Truth Findings-in-Brief — Challenges, Conditions, and Celebrations — drawn from the longitudinal dataset and most recent survey. Sticky notes, dot voting, and station prompts invite everyone to react: does this match what you see, what surprises you, what's missing?

• Center Educators as the Authorities. STEM educators respond to the data as the experts in the room, by validating the findings, interpreting what the patterns mean from the inside, and naming what they're asking for and what they know they need. Everyone else listens and learns; educators lead.

• Trace the Pipeline. Together, the room connects classroom conditions to student outcomes to the future STEM workforce.  Teachers shape students, and students become the workforce.  Making clear why supporting Black STEM educators is a workforce strategy, not only an education one.

• Visit the Museum. All attendees will receive FREE admission to Oakland Museum of California (OMCA) for the day.
